Train Scrapbook

Hi. I am sharing a scrapbook I did of my garden railroad. The railroad is in my backyard. It is g-scale and was started by my husband and I in 1993. I found this chipboard scrapbook at a local scrapbook store. I sand all the edges myself. Not the best choice for my first chipboard scrapbook.

Card using Memory Box Botanical Frame

Hello all. This card I wanted to use the New Memory Box die Botanical Frame. See what I did.

Items used to make 5 x 7 card:

Martha Stewart Punch around the Page Cheery Blossom

Memory Box Botanical Frame

Memory Box Bella Bouquet

Memory Box Fancy Blossoms

Epiphany Crafts Oval 25 and Oval metal setting oval

1/16 inch ribbon

Tim Holtz Distressed Stickle Victorian Velvet and Stormy Sky

Tim Holtz Distressed Paint I blended several colors to match green

Just-rite Times New Romans 15pt

The oval metal setting I blend several of the Tim Holtz Distressed Paints together till it look like the color I wanted to match. It does dry on metal. I also cut off the flowers on the Bella Bouquet and used the flower from the Botanical frame. I used the Just-rite stamps to make the Thanks so it fit in the oval. Any question let me know.

Thanks, Sue

CARD USING NEW EPIPHANY CRAFTS

5x7 card

Items used to make card:

Epiphany Crafts round 25

Epiphany Craft Metal Charms Round 25 Silver

Spellbinders Labels 28

Spellbinders enchanted Labels 28

Nellie Snellen Punches Rose Flower

Nellie Snellen Punch Rose Leaf

Marianne Creatables Anja Rose Corner

Raggedy Ann Stamp

1/16 inch Ribbon

Tim Holtz Markers

Tim Holtz Distressed Spun Sugar Ink

Tim Holtz Spun Distressed Sugar stickle

Corner Die

I found a part of the paper that I wanted to place in the center of the metal embellishment. The Epiphany tool is very easy to use.  Make a great piece to add to your card. I had just got the Spellbinder’s Enchanted Labels. So had to try and use it. I layered my colors of paper.  Marianne Creatables Rose corner I cut it out and then scuffed it. Then use my ink across the top and stickled across the rose petals of the die. I stamped the Raggedy Ann. Colored with my markers. Hand cut it out.  I also use an ink dapper to clean the edges of the cut edge of the paper. There is a corner die in the card that I used but I am not sure which one. I was at my sister-in-laws house and it must be one of hers. Any corner die will do. It is about the size of the Cherry Lynn Lace corners. Next cut and emboss the rose punches and rose leave. Place the items on the card as you like. I tied the ribbon at the tip of die and placed a pink cross with the charm.

Hi,

Here is another stab at a  man’s card. I used the same paper.

Items used to make card:

Spellbinders cattail

Anna Griffin Cricut Cuttlebug Pirouette

Martha Stewart French Scroll Punch around the Page

Memory Box Nestled Bird Spellbinders A2 Matting Basics A

Marianne Design Creatables Swirl

Spellbinders Iron Works

Tim Holtz Walnut stain and Blue China

The card was made the same as the last one. The only difference is the cattails. I cut them out of the blue and the brown. Then I ran the walnut a cross the top of the blue paper. Cut the off the tops of the cattails and then glued them to the brown. Hope that makes sense.

Good morning. I have been thinking about Men’s cards. I really like to make the pretty card with flowers and ribbon on them. Here is my stab at a man’s card.

5x7 CARD

ITEM USED:

Anna Griffin Cricut Cuttlebug Pirouette

Martha Stewart Punch Around the Page French Scroll

Spellbinders Label 8

Marianne Creatables Frame and Leaves

Marianne Creatables Bird on a Branch Small

Spellbinders Iron Works

Selected Cardstock

Tim Holtz Distressed Ink Broken China and Walnut Stain

I started by embossing a piece of brown white cord textured paper. I scuffed it and put the ink pad right over the embossing to color the scuffing. Then I placed the paper in the die and tried to line it up to center the design. I glued the Frame and Leave die on the blue paper and trimmed to fit.  The same with the brown paper. Punch the Martha Stewart punch with a 5 x 6 ¾ piece of brown paper.  Cut out the Labels 8 die and cut out the blue paper to fit inside the Martha Stewart Punch Around the Page.  Also it trim the blue to fit under Martha Stewart Punch Around the Page. Also cut out the Bird in the branch out of brown and scuffed it. Cut out the Iron Works and used the walnut stain light over the die cut.
